11/22/2022 Updated formatting and background information to add "This Report can only be docketed on Chapter 7, Chapter 12, Chapter 13, and Chapter 11 Subchapter V cases. The Report can also be used by any trustee in cases filed under Chapter 11 Subchapter V, Chapter 12, and Chapter 13 if the dividend is less than $15.

This event should be used by the Chapter 7 trustee to file a Report of Small Dividends if the dividend for any creditor is less than $5. The Report can also be used by any trustee in cases filed under Chapter 11 Subchapter V, Chapter 12, and Chapter 13 if the dividend is less than $15.

The Report shall include a list with the names, addresses, and amount payable to each creditor.

Attention! After this document has been electronically filed, the trustee has two business days to remit a check to the clerk's office along with a copy of the Report of Small Dividends that was filed with the court. Once the clerk's office receives the check, the receipt will be recorded on the docket.

Step-by-Step Procedure:

  1. Select Bankruptcy>Trustee/US Trustee

  2. Enter Case Numberand click Next

  3. Select Report of Small Dividends and click Next

  4. Select the Trustee from the party pick list or Add Create New Party

  5. Click Next

  6. Click Browse button and navigate to locate the appropriate PDF

  7. Select PDF to be uploaded into CM/ECF

  8. Click Open button and filename will appear in the browse window

  9. Click Next

  10. Verify the accuracy of the docket text

    Example of docket text:

    • If applicable, click the down arrow to choose a prefix from the pick list

    • Verify the accuracy of the docket text. If not correct / If correct

  11. Click Next


    The Final Text page will display. This is your final opportunity to modify the entry before submitting the filing.

  12. Verify the accuracy of the final text

  13. Click Next to complete filing process

The Notice of Electronic Filing will display. It is the verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.

Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case. You have a period of 15 days for a one time free look at the document filed.
